We will cover the fundamentals of aerial hoop including basic hoop mounts, hangs, inversions and poses as well as various hangs, spinning, small drops, transitions and sequences to improve your stamina in the air.
Prerequisites: None. Are you a beginner just getting started with aerial arts? This class is for you! In this class, we will be going over the fundamentals of aerial, including proper warmups, basic body positioning, mounts/dismounts, climbs, inversions, shapes and poses. We will be introducing a new apparatus each week, so you can have fun sampling a wide variety! You will be surprised at how much stronger you feel by the end of the series. In this class we will cover the fundamentals of aerial silks including footlocks, inversions, hip-keys, climbs and poses. Based on student level, we may move to spinning, intermediate wraps, poses, climbs and sequences to increase your stamina in the air.
In this class we will focus on building strength, awareness, mobility and safe training habits for aerial work. We will cover drills both on and off the apparatus that will help develop your core, spinal mobility, shoulder stability, active compression, c-shaping skills and more. There will be progressions for exercises so that people at any point in their aerial journey can benefit from the workout.
Find new capacities in the air on this beautifully simple and perpetually challenging apparatus. Build strength, stamina, control and flexibility on the corde lisse while learning the fundamentals, including wraps, beats, drops and more. Coaching is student specific.
Beginner class is for folks who have little to no experience in Pole or other Aerial apparatuses. Learn the basics of Aerial Pole such as climbing, spinning and a some really beautiful beginner level poses.
Our intermediate class is for folks who already have some experience in Pole Dancing or other Aerial apparatuses. We will refine our existing knowledge of pole dancing and learn how to adapt our skills to this unique style of Pole. We will be working on more challenging poses and transitions.
Whether you are a total beginner or looking to add juggling on top of your balance, you are welcome here! The instructor will provide skills appropriate to your level of mastery.
Bringing your own is preferred, as you will make progress quicker if you using the same one each practice session.
Skills we will cover: riding, turning, free mounting, idling, one foot idling, hopping, and adding skills on top of our balance

All groundwork disciplines welcome, including juggling, dance, acrobatic, unicycle, clown, breakdancing, others.
This 2-hour open training session is an opportunity to practice in a performance-like setting, while the flow community is in the space working with their ground apparatuses. Typically there will be projections in the space, low lighting and music. Aerial points will be reserved and cordoned off. There will be space to warm up and cool down.
